To add something positive...

My A Frames have done 3 full seasons and some decent trips on top of that, I've got the same 2 lenses and you're covered for any possible conditions you will come accross. They may not have te bling of more recent designs but for practicality they can't be beaten.

Excellent deal for somebody here.

Because you were wrong and your comments were poorly researched. A simple Google will show that these goggles retail at £100 with the extra lens at £30 (discounted to £80 and £24 on Steptoes - thanks Mea00csf), so no, it's not possible to pick these up new for £70 or less.

If you have no intention of buying these from Mr (or Mrs) Pow Pow, I'd possibly be quiet and let them try to sell their goggles to someone who does want them.

QUOTE (mea00csf - 04/06/2008 @ 11:15:10)

Tekilla, if you look at the link you posted, a spare persimmon lens is only £24 It's the hi persimon lens, which do look really cool and are really practical, which are £52

My bad, but still annoys me when n*b jocks jump on an item someone else is selling and say "you're charging too much, but I don't wanna buy it anyway". If you're not interested in buying, keep your opinions to yourself or maybe just carefully word your reply as a constructive "Have a look at what other people/shops are charging and possibly adjust your price".

This is speaking from experience - I've been flamed in the past for doing said above things

Ok, so you can get the goggles for £80 and the lense for £24, £104 total. I suppose I could let them go for £60. That seems like a good deal to me.

Do your research - these include a spare persimmon lens which would add about £40 to the retail price

Not that I'm wanting to buy them or anything.

I have got a set of excelent condition oakey a frame goggles. They are in Concrete gray and come with both a persimmon lense and a black iridium lense. I'm looking for £70 for the lot. I am based in Aberdeen but would be happy to post them. I can get photos to anyone intrested.
If intrested please email me on thomaslamb AT hotmail.com as I'm not on here very much.
Thanks
