I have an old santa cruz entry level board... my first board infact I managed to break a section off the nose with out snapping it!!?? did it on dry slope. Was a fun board till I killed it. The bindings that came with it on the other hand were shoddy to say the least... they have probably updated the build/spec on their bindings now, but mine were like plastc toy bindings. Could flex the base plates till they felt like they would snap!

For the money I'd get an idea of what I was after and get on the BAY.
