| I did hear rumblings of of Skiing/Boarding game coming out that could use the WiiFit board as an optional controller if you had one... I'll have to go have a look for it. |

Well you can import the japanese version for a £100, or wait till around Spring for a UK release.
Also, I think it's released in the U.S. around May '08, which means this the first time in ages that a product is available in the UK/European market before the U.S.
Now, if they also brought out a Wii specific SSX game that used the Wii fit controller....Can just see people in decked out in their snowboard clobber playing this.  |

I'm not sure what you mean by "Wii interactive", but SSX Blur is on the Wii, and it's a good game, although the courses are rehashes from previous SSX gams and the higher-level tricks are a bear to pull off.
The new Wii Fit (weight-sensing balance board that you stand on) is out in Japan already, and the game that comes with it has a one-minute snowboarding mini-game where you point the board at the TV, and stand sideways on it to ride.
EA recently alluded to a new snowboarding game in a demo featuring DJ Atomika (the SSX announcer), but there was no confirmation of when, for what platforms, or if it'll be SSX or something different.
That's all I've heard of lately. |

Hopefully, through the use of Atomika and Mac Fraser, EA Big have seen the errors of their "yoof"-chasing and are signalling that they will give SSX fans what they want.
Well, probably, only another 12 months until we find out... |

It hasn't been confirmed yet but there's a hint on the new PS3 Burnout demo that SSX will be back for the PS3 shortly.
DJ Atomica (from SSX3) is the DJ in the new Burnout game and mentions that his friend, Mac Fraser, was saying that the snow is starting to fall and to check out the mountain.
Hopefully they'll bring both Mac and Atomika back for the new game, then I can actually look forward to the new SSX game. |

Looks like it will be a quick port to have a "next gen" gameout there.
It does look like Happiness. Which considering SSXOT is a good thing but I wanted a new game. Guess we'll have to wait until, at least, Novemberfor a proper new game. |
