In reply to post #2 ...
My course is with the ski and snowboard instructor training co. which is baced in queenstown. Im only doing the snowboard course though. I dont have my own kit yet, i'm currently looking for the best options, was thinking about getting a high spec freestlye board but as iv'e only really been boarding for 18months i'm now thinking a more flexible forgiving board will be better (any suggestions?)
Im currently trying to get everything sorted for my trip, is there anything that could help me? Has anyone who has done a instructor course got any tips to help me on my way? And also how easy is it to get a job once i finnish my course? I'm thinking i may get a work visa and stay in NZ for the year or maybe try and hit the northern hemispher for the start of the 08/09 season to try and work as an instructor. Any feed back or ideas would be great!

  #1 NZ instructor coarse!  03/02/2008 @ 11:54:07
Hello hello, I've finaly got around to signing up to this awesome site. Anyway I have just paid my deposit towards an 11 week instructor coarse in Queenstown starting in July. Has anyone done the NZ coarse? Is anyone here going to NZ this year, and has anyone got any advise they could give me so I can better prepare myself and get the most from my trip? Thanks.
