Thanks Mike, we emigrated to Brisbane in Jan so just a short hop across for us.

Think we might just hang on for Wanaka...

Thanks again

Cheers

Hopefully you're travelling from Australia, because a week is a very short time.

Mt Hutt has the moniker of 'Mt Shut' so putting all your eggs into one basket may not be the wisest decision for a 7-day trip.

You'd be based in Methven for Mt Hutt and there are a number of club fields in the area that may be open / offer better riding than Hutt during your stay.

Alternatively base yourself in Wanaka and hit Treble Cone, Cardrona, The Remarkables and Coronet Peak.

Hi All,

We're looking at heading over to New Zealand South Island Mt HUtt for a wek in August, has anyone been here? Any opinions?

We have a 1 year old as well, so any info would be great. What's boarding in Mt Hutt like?

Thanks
