QUOTE (superdave - 29/07/2008 @ 10:30:43)

Hay guys,

Me and my girlfriendhave recently moved from Telford to manchester (salford quays) and dont really know anyone. I have been snowboaring for some years now and I am into my freestyle boarding (i am not too good but have a go) and my girlfriend has recently started and is still at beginner standard.

We normally go sunday mornings at the moment as they are quiet but will start going other times when the girlfriend has become more confidant.

I just wondered if there are any groups that board or people that go on a regular basis that we could tag along with and meet some like minded people?

Hi Superdave,

how are you settling in to mancuian way of life??
Anna can't wait to go to Whistler in Feb '09!!!!! woohoo!! ^_^

Yeh will do. I'll be like a GB recruitment officer get my own shiny badge see how many people I can convert.

Oh by the way anyone who read the voucher talk about using it on Park night for the three hour thingy, after talking AGAIN to someone at Chill you CAN'T use it as that's already a discounted price! .

Aye it was a great night, really enjoyed it - great to meet up with some new folks and get the slopes to ourselves for half price (result!) Em, I hope your friends aren't put off by our talk of former injuries and broken bones....encourage them to register to GB too. See you next week. Bods
