Did a 20miler north of Leeds last night and ended up riding into Emmerdale (well tried to ride into emmerdale!! were it not for the security, we'd have been supping a pint outside the Woolpack!)

Nice ride, some good singletrack, and some overgrown singletrack that'd be awesome if chopped back a bit!! poor old KP looked like she'd mauled by Lion's, with all the scrapes on her arms from the bramble bushes!!

All good tho!!

Riding at boring old Dalby or North York Moors way this weekend!! HOoter!

no It is WOLDS. and Driffield is the Capital.

GREAT DRIFFIELD - Capital of the Wolds (world!)

The steep sided valleys are probably 1:2.5 in places (certainly steeper than 1:3 - great for sledging!!! but a tad on the short side.

Did a legendary ride aroumd the Yorkshire Wolds at teh weekend, ok the height gain isn't that great, but the frequency of the up-down nature of the chalk hills mean that you're either climbing or descending, got spattered up to the gunnels with mud and cow sh*t, but loved every minute of it - put that with Spectacular cloud formations and stunning changes in the weather - you've got to love Mountain Biking!! Superb!

Looking at getting out round Boltby Forest this weeekend - was wondering if anyone had any routes they'd ridden and enjoyed (moderate to hard and technically challenging downhills!!)

Not so much mountain biking but I'm looking for an online retailer that doesn't tell porkies and actually has got inner tubes suitable for 700x23 tyres in stock that aren't for deep section rims.

Both Wiggle and CRC tell lies and say they have loads when you view the summary page, but then say discontinued when you delve deeper. Very shortly I will have to resort to patching whilst out on a ride which fills me with great levels of joy and happiness.
