no luck down our end, Plymouth was a special trip just to TKMAXX and they are renovating with little stock on the floor and the assistant at the counter was a little unhelpful. could not tell us where the men's section was

from there we drove down to truro to find nothing exceptional.
the good news is we had a real good meatball sub, a day out from the office and a round trip of 212 miles from home and back and did not spend a lot of money.

roll on the snow - 103 days to go

Got some stuff in my local tk maxx yesterday, not sure of the brands but being a beginner off on my first trip to austria on 23rd of nov, cant wait!!!!, it was exactly what i was looking for, a surfanic??? jacket which is 10/5 waterproof breathability stuff, all the bells and whistles from all of the pricey jackets ive seen online (snow skirt, all sorts of pockets for ipods phones etc, goggle wiper, liftpass holder) i think it rocks anyways, and scott??? trousers, couldn't get a medium so i've had to plump for a large, which with a belt are fine anyways, just nice and baggy, which i think looks cool anyway, £110 for the lot, bargain, i'm off to kettering tomorrow to see if theyve got any decent goggles in as theyre next on my to buy list.

Starting to get some stuff in Coventry today... Loads of girls' pants and jackets, blokes' stuff mainly not in as yet, although there were a couple of nice looking Quiksilver jackets that I will have to make sure my hubby doesn't see...
Whose round is it?

I got some massive Alpha pants in december from TK Maxx in Cheltenham. They were really comfy, massive pockets for all my kit and I got compliments and lots of 'great pants - where are they from' from guys and gals alike. Couldnt find any jackets worth their salt there though so forked out for a top notch oneil jacket which was comfy and warm as hell.

the pants i got from tk failed badly after a couple of weeks during my course so i whipped out 200CHF for a sweet ass pair of 686 pants baggy as fuck and the quality is top notch, ive given up doing stuff on the cheap, you get what you pay for in most cases.

Picked up a Quicksilver Gortex jacket at TK in Lakeside for £60. Wasn't impressed with my last Quicksilver jacket due to it leaking over the shoulders, but the Gortex one is great.
They also had a nice Gortex Berghaus jacket for £75 while I was in there.

Urmston and Bolton are both short of any decent clothing at the moment - I think that they're awaiting all the Dec - Jan sale stuff to filter through.

Kids CEBE and Serious helments currently at Bolton £11, £12 and £22 camo and silver designs with great features and sizes upto 56cm.

Now that's a bargain!
