Yeah, the vast majority might not notice the difference but I did..
and if conditions are wet (slushy) then you can lose a wax in a day.. |

Completely agree.

| I surely can't be the only person on here that thinks that the vast majority of people on snowboards over the course of a weeks use, won't be slowed down by a slightly underwaxed board?! Most people (and i am including myself in this!) are not using their boards to full potential and will bottle it way before their 5 or 6 days use of board makes any difference at all! (Or am i just a big wuss?) |

| I use Dope wax. Any quick fix wax as has been mentioned is good for one or two days but will need repeated applications for a week. |

Yep - 2 step application, so rub it in then polish/buff it off (ooo er matron) I just used a normal kitchen cloth before, although sure a pad would be better. |

Hey Tekilla/guys,
Got a pot of afterburner wax the other day. Am off to the Grand Massif on Sunday and will probably get a shop wax a few days in if I can. But if I can't, I haven't used the afterburner before though, is it just as simple as spread on and polish in ?? Any tips ?
Cheers
Steve |

I had some of the Toko stuff - sooooooper-expensive.. not that great..
I recently got some Demon PasteWax that did a great job of keeping my base moist n fast while out in Canada for 2 weeks last month..

Dakine rub on gets my vote too from experiance.
Indeed Zardos Notwax is amazingly quick but doesn't last long I've found it be ok for an evening at MK. |

| I have used Icetools Fast Flux. Did the job well but only lasts a couple of days at most. It dries quick with a good thick layer which takes a bit of polishing but works great. Having said that can't beat the real thing. |
