Hi! Fingers crossed this won't be deleted...
Between Friday the 3rd and Sunday the 5th of July it's the SCUK summer bash at Tamworth.
Full details can be found here but essentially it's where a load of snowboarders go camping in a field, drink beverages, eat bbq food and go for a shred at Tamworth Snowdome (there's normally a bit of skating, football, kite flying, frisbee and other shenanigans).
EVERYONE is welcome hence me posting on here  You don't have to be a SCUK member or even want to be a SCUK member. It's about snowboarders having a laugh and getting together with other snowboarders, regardless of which websites they visit most often! With any luck the mods on here will see that this isn't just advertisement for the other website. I just think it would be nice for us like minded people to meet up, have a laugh and hopefully friends will be made.

It's absolutely sincere, though posts on here that link to SCUK stuff seem to get deleted... SCUK being a competitor and all that. Hence the "Lets see how long it lasts..."  |

| Nope, it'll be put up early next week I think. It's normally just a random farmers field. |

| Garry who runs snowdome sorts us out with a field since he's in with all the local farmers (oo err!!). He usually waits till the last week to confirm which one though to see which is in the best condition from the weather. He also sorts a portaloo which is always handy! |

Had a look on the facebook group and so far there are over 60 people confirmed as attending (including me yay cant wait), so a little query really.......is it just one portaloo?? If it is jesus the queue will be massive and I definateley don't want to be last in line after the beer and BBQ fest!!!!  |

| The facebook group isnt to be trusted. Most of those people wont show up, loads of people always click yes on events and then forget about them completely. Half of the yes's on the group aren't names i recognise from scuk and probably dont even go it it much, the power of facebook hey, we all click yes on anything we see ! Usually about 30 40 odd people i think, allot of which are the Tam locals |
