Yes it is! You can knock 5 cm off the length so if you are comfortable with a 152 a 148 should be perfect!!

So is the Va Va Voom (VVV) the womens equivalent to the WWW? Just that in your answer you don't refer to the VVV, only the WWW?

Hi,

I ride the WWW and, yeah, you can go a fair bit shorter. This is apparently due to the longer effective edge (due to very short nose and tail on these boards).

I ride the 155 but have always had 160+ for my 'mountain' board. Whichever way you look at it though, these boards are super soft jibby boards, ideal for domes etc. Took it out on what turned out to be a powder day on my last holiday, whilst I did better then expected, it wasn't great!!!

I would say the 148 will be ok - I sometimes wish I had gone for the 151 WWW for jibbing on - though the 155 is still decent enough in a park in resort.

Hope this helps!!

  #1 K2 Va Va Voom question....  15/04/2008 @ 09:42:36
Hi all,

quick question, i played with a K2 Va Va Voom last week in France and loved it, used a 152.

My ''normal' size range for a board is 152 - 155. now i've heard with the VVV that you can go 5cm shorter? will the 148 be too short? i mainly want it for playing in the domes and possibly mucking around on the piste.

i'm 5'6" and medium build, god haven't weighed myself in years!

would appreciate any advice - looking at getting the Ride Vista also for more powder days.

cheers.....
