yap, tree wells can be v scary

for me this year...zoomed down from a landed rock drop buzzing with excitement. The boys were stopped on a small plateau further down the slop. Popped an ollie off the roller and meant to land next to the lads. Way too much speed...cleared the plateau, found myself in the air with nothing beneath me as it was a cliff after the flat section. dropped 40 ft into soft snow. The boys managed to get down to meet me. Said that it was all rock right to the part where i landed. used a life for sure right there.

Nothing crazy, but my first tree well at Louise scared me quite a bit. Deep enough I couldn't hear out, and couldn't see any of my group

this season alone the list goes on.

riding tree lines losing control and nearly impaling my self on a very sharp branch stuck out of the snow.

doing the 60 footer in the park and corking out in the air and hitting the knuckle with my back ( god bless back protectors )

hitting the 30 fter and hitting the knuckle with my head first trying my first 3 off anythign that big.

doing 20 ft cliff drop and nearly skectching out on the ride out very very fast.

think thats about it so bout 1 near death experince for each month of my season so far lol.

snowboarding is absolutely awesome but just recently ive come to realise just how dangerous it is!! thought i'd write a thread to see how close some of you have come to death! So spill? not necessarily just with boarding but with anything! or just some really scary moments when you've thought that thats it!
