I enjoyed Futureproof. Need to watch it again to be fair. You know how it is, once you own about 20 it's easy to forget what you saw on which DVD.

I also liked inshort, great camera work, real snowboarding, and whitty genuine moments

I watched the extras section of more last night and as well as the avalanche info and retrival section which was very informative there was an excellent section on teh making of futureproof

Any one seen the film? is it good or is teh making of better than teh actual thing?

I've seen nearly 20 snow pr0ns from this season, and In Short is easily my favorite. It's the only film lately (save last season's Patchwork Patterns - maybe), that captures the fun of shredding that actually makes me want to get out and ride asap. (The only other films to do this for me are Robot Food flicks and the first DC MTN LAB vid.) If you have a short attention span and can't stand talking parts, then it might not be for you, but otherwise, definitely watch it.

I enjoyed 91 Words and thought it was an excellent film, but In Short makes me want to ride much more. In Short makes all other snow films seem pretty formulaic (as they usually are, honestly). Many times better than Gap Session.

My runner-up for this year was Optimistic by Absinthe. Nothing spectacular, just solid riding, and a listenable soundtrack. This year seemed a little bleak on the snow pr0n front outside of those two films, for me at least. Even DC MTN LAB 1.5 wasn't all that special. Not bad, but not up to Pierre's usual work.

Ok thank you to someone for loaning it to me (you know who you are), I've now seen 91 words, it was a great watch but still liked Lines more. Saw December last night - loved it but then I'm a sucker for snow road trip films.

EDIT:- Paddy B, there's a bit through rocks that Kelly does that was insane.

Ah ok cheers Bods, I do tend to like the more down to earth, bunch of mates having a laugh style anyway - get a bit bored with jump after rail after jump after jump to average music over the top, I like to see a bit more banter side of things.

In Short is more of a Lads on tour type style film....

Done very well, I enjoyed it....think of it like, if you and your best mates all took cameras to far off destinations and filmed all the good crack that you generally have, this film captures it - especially like the camera out on the pole, being held in front facing back at the boarder - very clever shot.....and gave a better rider perspective (IMHO)

Also, towards the end when one of them jumps into the snow hole/cave - literally disappears!!! so funny!

Liked in Short, and 91 Words, both very similar styles of film yet completely different, if you get what I mean. I'd buy it.....or keep fingers crossed that someone does, or it comes with next years Whitelines?

I probably would enjoy Lines. Favourite film so far this year is Optimistic by Absinthe. Great mix of disciplines and MFM's spraying of skiers standing by rails and landings makes me laugh every time.

Ah ok thanks Fatbob,I've got Gap Session so will pick up a copy of 91. Have you seen Lines by Axel Pauporte? A great watch, some major steeps, but done documentary style so maybe not everyone's cup of tea.

I've got it and it's nowhere near as good as 91 words or Gap Session.
