I am travelling by Eurostar and train a lot and used to live in Paris as well.

From paris nord to paris gare du lyon, you need to take the "RER" changing at chatelet les halles, and the train are leaving from the same platform which is really convenient with board and bag

This is only one stop on each line, and the RER is fairly big so there would be no problem at all, used to do it a lot, it is really easy. That's up to you though.

Paris tube is very small and packed, more so that london, i was in it last night and there is no room for baggage if its full, the tubes are soooo thin!! Having said that the journey you wanna do is really short so im sure you can manage it if you can be arsed!! I wouldn't worry about it, you just have to make sure you open the doors when it pulls up on thr platform as they dont open automatically

Hi Guys

I'm looking for a voice of experience here!....

I'm off to Les Deux Alpes in July and I'm trying to work out the best way to get there. One option is for me to travel by Eurostar to Paris and then from Paris to Grenoble by SNCF. Has anyone done this journey with a snowboard and large bag? If so, how was the journey from Paris Nord to Paris Gare De Lyon?

Any help/advice gratefully recieved

Cheers

Vix
