Some of the best stuff I've had is Swix, but it's a tad expensive. I tend to use whatever really though, doesn't make a massive amount of difference especially when I put a bit of Zardoz on before waxing and then some more after I've scraped
I can't work out how to put a link in my signature damn it!

I just got some from Datawax and it's great stuff (to my non-expert eye) - and like you say, very good value

The British company Datawax does a good range of waxes. You get allot more wax for your money than most other commercial branded companies.

I.e Most Branded all Purpose Waxes are abour £8-12 for 150g

You can get 300g of All temp wax from Data for about a fiver.

same reason you'd rub candle wax on the base of your board - because you weren't paying attention and believed everything you read.

(though I now find myself wondering if it'd work in lieu of a stomp pad).

(this thread has also reminded me I need to stop off on the way to the beach tomorrow)

OBJ for the smell and the love that goes on your board when you apply it.

Any wax as long as it's not too extreme in terms of temp range really, be that bulk The Park wax or little Swix pots. I had one cold wax that crystalized as soon as it was applied and was hard as nails to scrape.... in fact I still have a load if anyone wants to buy some

Personally I use Mr. Zogs - comes for a range of temperatures and is less than two quid a block. Just rub it on the top of your board and you're set.

(I've used Toko, Burton & Demon all-temp wax and not really noticed a difference).
