QUOTE (SnowBunny83 - 11/05/2008 @ 16:57:08) Thank you for your help guys. I have the saloman kiana boots and they do seem quite wide. I will take them with me when I go to buy some. I am hoping to get my whole set up sorted before I go chamonix for the season. Ah, that's what I have
I found they fit great with the Rome Madisons (so would be the same with the Struts), and not so good with Burton Lexa (although I think I could have done with a bigger size binding, that wouldn't have solved the slipping capstrap problem) and Salomon Relay Pro (mainly because they were so stiff and had a load of pressure points, also capstrap slippage).
PB - the Kianas seem to be chunkier than other Salomon boots I've seen - they're significantly bigger than my sister's Salomon Ivy in the same size (not length-wise but width and I think the height of the toebox). |

| Salomons aren't wide in terms of the snowboard boots world generally. But will be worth taking them all the same. |

Yep, Rome's girl's bindings come in one size so they're super-adjustable. They fit my UK8.5 boots perfectly with everything at the largest setting so they should fit 7.5 nicely.
I have Rome Madisons and love them, shout if you want any more details
Edit - like has already been said you should definitely try bindings on with your boots though - boots are different shapes and so are bindings, some combinations will work better than others. Especially if you go for some with rigid capstraps (as opposed to the rubber ones that Rome and I think Ride and maybe others have), if they don't match the shape of the toebox of your boot they'll tend to slip which is really annoying. |

| Skint is right, my mate went from 32 boots to Vans BFB's a couple of seasons ago, and he had to buy new bindings to accomodate them, they were both the same size too, a 10. Had to buy XL Ride Tomcats as the boots didn't fit in his Large ones. |

Rome bindings for girls can alter their size to fit a wider range of boot size than most manufacturers
also note that sometimes it is better to find out your boot size as a US size as this is what most manufacturers quote their size range in and then convert it with varying results
anyway if you are interested in rome bindings check out this link for rome struts, i've also seen them in TSA but at 30quid more...
i bought a set of rome madisons for the wife recently and was impressed with them, if you want a look at the madisons then click here |

Hey Sam,
The outer shape of boots differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. I believe Vans boots for example are known for being quite lare and wide. Take your boots with you when buying your bindings and try them on with each one and get the advice from the shop.
Then away you go :O) |

| Size 7.5 should be a medium but yeah, it is a good idea you check as some boots are bulkier on the outside than others |

Can you try them out with your boots?
In my experience, the actual outer size of boots does vary a bit between models, so if you’re right between two binding sizes, the boot itself may make the difference. |

Hi
This might be a really daft question to ask but I am trying to get my first board and bindings, I have my boots which are a size 7.5.
I had a look at some bindings and they are in like sizes 5 to 7.5 or 7.5 to 11. I dont know which one would be the best to get.
Sorry about the daft question.
