When i put it on my helmet took it took nice pictures of snow 2 meters in front of me,but was hoping to catch my kids.In the end just held it in my hand.Picture quality is ok in bright light .

Think there was another thread for this camera somewhere (1)

There is also a couple of threads on the diy kit helmet cam which seems to have better resolution, although you will need an expensive £250+ camcorder with remote lanc and av-in. See PaulM's website
This is the route I went down however buy the helmet camera first and lanc remote first then take down to jessops to test with a suitable camcorder before buying online from quidco.com followed by your 4% cashback on everything on your capitalone credit card - it's gonna be expensive (2)

Generally the market seems to be improving with larger manufacturers following the new trend as seen here: (3)

And then there is a new waterproof/shockproof all rounder in the form of memory card recorders or waterproof camera's (sanyo xacti or olympus mju 790sw) (4)
