Yip, yip... It's all good man. Just not managing to do much else because of it. I'll make up for it this winter though. We'll need to hook up

I dont know if I could put myself through that climb again...anyone got a number for a sherpa hire place?
Anyone who's camping should look out for Dan and Simmys bungalow tent...they're the kind of neighbours who'll save your life with a mug of coffee when your stoves humped

ps. I'm in!

Stuart, here's your thread!

Looking at 11,12,13th May.

Aviemore 2006 thread

See the above thread for exact details, but basically it is a case of

Arrive on Friday, set up camp / bunkhouse / bungalow / hotel. Drink

Meet in Mambo's in town for a feed and drink. Post Mambo party in the campsite.

Saturday drive up to the gorm(wait for a few guys for ages ) and hike up to the top of the Ptarmigan for a few turns and a few hits on the kicker. BBQ in the evening at the campsite either camping or in one of their lodges(as beavers do). Some of the guys stayed in the Bunkhouse. Post party drink

Sunday - chillout, MTBing?, rafting?, return home? Drink.

Having read through the 43 pages of the previous thread, who's up for it, last year's was superb with excellent conditions! Sign up here.
I don't need to shout about what qualifications I have got and haven't got, I know I'm good!
