hummmm, i've been playing around with mine and with more forward lean you get better control over your board and helps u to bend your knees

youll want to have the forward lean of youre bindings equal to that of your naturally flexed stance. stand strapped into your board and flex like you would for normal riding,. get someone to go down and push your high backs against youre boots and adjust them until there is no gap between boot and high backs when youre flexed. thats the perfect forward lean.
although i myself ride with only 1 or 2 because i mix up my riding between performance stuff and park.

personaly i only ride with a bit. but even as a park rat forward lean will help initiate edge for spinning off kickers especialy with frontside spins.
( was the discription of angulation right out of the casi manual there chip

A 'requirement' of budding CASI instructors is that they ride with maximum forward lean - though most of the guys on Powdertrip last year didn't..
The more lean you have the more performant your heelside turns will be - you'll have instant response and be able to achieve greater angulation of the board when carving (the angle of the board in relation to the slope).. It will give you a more aggressive stance too meaning you'll be standing much lower with knees always bent and able to react faster.. the only downside is discomfort if your thighs aren't strong enough to maintain that stance all day but they soon do so..
Generally, if you wanna carve up piste then you want big lean, if you're a park rat then less but it's all down to personal preference..
