For those of you not out in the Alps this season, but looking to get some shredding time, this could be right up your street...

Dawn of the Shred Snowboard Jam

For the second year running Vans will hold their Dawn of the Shred Snowboard Jam at the Vans Terrain Park in association with Cairngorm Snowboard Club, Scotland.

Taking place on the 09 Feb and 22 March this open competition is a homegrown display of rail skills and definitely not to be missed. The Vans snow team will be in attendance to show off their talents in a team demo and you can have your chance to meet them at the team signings.

What can you expect?
Within the Vans Terrain Park are 6m and 9m kickers, a flat bar rail, jib barrel, battleship box, flat rail, flat down rail, Escalator Box, C Box which all go together to create an epic park right on our very door step. A new obstacle for this winter season is the lesser spotted Nessy Rail that snakes its way up and down.Dawn of the Shred

If you're over 18, Youth (16/17 years) or Junior (under 15) or Girls, and you think that you have what it takes to enter - you could win yourself the cash prize purse of £500!

There will be an opportunity to get your mitts on the latest Vans product to test at the Demo Boot Station.

Vans Apres Ski Party
No snow event would be complete without an after party and this is no exception, the Vans Apres Ski Party held at The Woodshed Bar from 19:00, featuring DJ appearances from Finger Lickin's best, Scott Nixon, will take you late into the night.

Schedule
09:00 - 10.30 - Entrance and registration
11:00 - 16.30 - Open competition
19:00 - late - Vans Apres Shred Party

NB. Sunday 10 Feb and 23 March are bad weather contingency days. Competition dates and park availability are subject to local weather conditions! Always call the mountain for latest updates.
