Not really... they sit just above my hips and aside from the waist band folding over the important bits, like all the pads stay exactly where they should be |

nope D3O is different, d30 is floppy until it recieves an impact and then it goes hard (is it me or does that sound like a sexual inuendo?) Anyway, D3o is quite heavy too, theres a link below to the forcefield tech page on their website, it explains the technology alot better than i ever could.

| They're the one's, the use a non spongey rubber, which spreads the impact over a large area, which disperses presure over the whole of your rear as oppossed to just the cocyxx *Ow my head hurts after all that science* |

I've got a pair of Forcefield impact shorts, with 4 layer cocyxx protection (they usually only come with 2). They've got removable thigh and hip padding, which i've take out, and they're like a lycra shorts, so they work as a thermal layer too. They're a bit pricey in some shops, but they're made for motocross and mountain biking, so they're awesome. I work at www.bargainboards.co.uk, and we sold aload to the stunt men for the Dark Knight when they can down. If its good enough for Batman, its good enough for me! |

i got pro tec ones, don't major hugely on padding but enough to cover most spills
tried on RED ones at the same time (there are two types, one like swimming shorts and the one that i tried on with harder type padding), all the padding seemed to clash together when you moved so they got put back as a bad idea for me |
