Know how you feel.

Still worth a visit though.

Thanks for the offer Mike but I worked lifts for four years, worked my way to a position of reasonable seniority and have no desire to start a new mountain career from the bottom again. That's me done for seasons now I think.

nic jevad,
Head to Japan for your turns. You won't be disappointed. Easy from Hong Kong.

Isn't that going to screw up the mountain in terms of numbers of workers?

I'm taking advantage of this stupidly awesome deal and moving to Breck for the 09 season (well from early january til early april anyway)

I'm counting the seconds!

ps.... If anyone on here is gonna be in the area and is after an extra riding buddy just let me know, i'm going to be with the missus but she's a beginner so when i'm not helping her out i'd like to get as much proper riding in as possible... So if any vail/breck locals or seasonaires don't mind me tagging along i'd really appreciate it.

There is a mention of a promo code.....and a closing date of nov 18th, but other than that it isn't clear on restrictions.

That's unbelievable. Proof that RCR can and should be lowering prices, rather than taking advantage of us all.

I didn't have a problem paying 320 quid for my 8 days on the mountains around Banff (370 once you've counted in the admittedly (relatively) good value Kicking Horse day trip) but now... well, I'm still gonna pay it obviously, but it's ridiculous to think that my lift pass costs about half of the entire holiday!

Let's hope it creates a bit of competition and leads to prices being brought down from their current extortionate level.

It is a FUCKING amazing deal. A season pass for vail alone hit $1,000 recently - so think about it! And typically it comes out just as I am getting ready to move to Hong Kong!!

I haven't heard anything about it being restricted to US residents although it would be wise to check!

Thats a cracking deal, excellent value.
Its well worth looking for early season pass deals at any US/Canadian resort you plan to visit the following season as the early deals can sometimes be cheaper than a two week pass.
If you are skiing/riding for more than two weeks at Red next season it works out cheaper to buy a season pass.
