and if your going to tam you wont have bindings to worry about either as they use step-in's

No they don't. All boards as of last season have strap bindings.

As have I.....check out the measurements as she'll probably get away with a small size and as you rightly pointed out if you carry on boarding you'll want to replace these....so what would it matter if they were a little on the large side?? you use your hands very little when snowboarding.....and if your going to tam you wont have bindings to worry about either as they use step-in's

Just trying to save you £10's of extra pennies you needn't be forking out thats all!!!

Whichever ones fit. Cheap gloves are cheap gloves... this is not a big decision.

Granted, it's not a big decision but I'd still rather seek some advice and it might help someone else in the future.

Anyway, I'll be getting...

these for myself (£9.99)
and these for the lady (£10.58)

If you're going near a Decathlon they normally have some. I get them for around £5 and they generally last me 4/5 weeks on snow

most outdoors shops will have them. If you have an outlet shopping centre near you there's usually an outdoors shop in there which would be even cheaper

of course you'll love it! its snowboarding!

can only really think of looking on ebay for cheap gloves online, but you could try any outdoor shops (blacks, cotswold outdoor etc) and pick up a cheap pair.

good luck with the lessons, and welcome to GB!
