someone say MacG?
Yo guys. these bindings are something else. imagine infinite power to the edge. i think i spent a few weeks finding the right set up and i still tweak them constantly. Dennis the comment on build quality? bit wierd. mine are possibly the highest quality of build i have ever seen in a technical sports product.. guess you might of had an 'anomaly'. The FR Pro II's will be very tempting i'm sure. Mighe be nice to see some cap straps.
Just remember that 'directness' goes two ways from you to the edge and from the edge to you so it can be a lot of 'information / feedback' to handle... but lay it down into a turn with good speed and smooth terrain and see how hard you can push! (moderate speed??? dito??)

moderate speed... what's that? - no they're fine at all speeds, but you need to spend a few days finding the right setup.

are catek freerides comfortable at moderate speed or do they need to be driven hard all the time?

you rang??
Yeah they f'ing ace. hard as nails. don't expect to do any jumpsing around with them.
the build quality is a little poor (remeber thread lock when setting them up) but due to the cant/tilt they're uber comfy.
I believe catek are sold out of FR, waiting for FR2 out this autumn, so would like to see how they improve them - though I know they'll come with a carbon highback.
mac gspot is the only other person I know with them.
