Brighton/ Manchester - Snowboard/Ski Flick on Big Screen
08/02/2010 @ 23:18:26
Signatures: Canvas of Snow, a top snowboard/ski flick is one of the films that will feature at Brighton (Thu 11 Feb) and Manchester (Sat 13 Feb) later this week. Filmed in the incredible deep powder of Hokkaido (if only the UK snow was like that), it has some amazing cinematography and soundtrack as well as a nice philosophical touch to it.
Other brilliant mountain based films featuring sports such as climbing, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and speed flying (a cross between paragliding and skiing including some incredible aerial footage as they descend Mont Blanc) will also be shown.
To see the Banff trailer and for more info check out
www.banff-uk.com
. Tickets are £10 in advance (available on door if not sold out). There will be some great prizes and you could win a 7 day Mont Blanc trek. The bar will be open too.
