Facit: the marketing is terrible from Beyond Snow...as you have seen here in this forum. The bindings are pretty decent, and have won several design awards in Europe. So all i can say is give them a chance, if you dont want to then easy, stick to your normal bindings. Products such as this live of the love vs hate factor...something the company should play on I should open a marketing consulting company, then none of this nasty discussion would arise....

They are actually rather good, mate of mine rides one of the Legion team has them as a sponsor and they are really good, light and comfy. And I actually like the concept, they actually prevent you getting your straps sh@gged on towlines, as soon as you are off on the move you just step in and they close round your boot out of harms way.
Anyways his were too stiff for my liking but im sure there are softer product lines. |

Haha, you guys make me laugh.
Anyway, enough of all this serious stuff. Are these bindings any good? And more importantly, are they good enough to overcome their incredibly poor 'marketing'?

QUOTE (eno - 30/04/2008 @ 16:13:38) Ah very true Mr Skies. (I only took the insult to heart as I have a few friends who are quite offended by it) That's be Miss Skies thanks
It's a bit of a pet hate of mine and I'm in a shocking mood today, hence the mini-rant!
(And no I'm not gay myself, and it's nothing to do with having gay/lesbian friends or what they think about it - I don't actually know what any of them think because I've never asked, I just get very irritated by people who are ignorant or don't think about what they're saying or are homophobic. Or all three.) |

QUOTE (eno - 30/04/2008 @ 13:34:53) Well, I'll definitely check these out now I know that they're being pushed by abusive homophobes (who spam internet forums) Thanks, I was just about to say pretty much the same myself.
Much as calling someone homosexual is only insulting if they themselves are homophobic, I really really wish that gay/gey/ghey/fag would stop being an acceptable insult or synonym for bad. This forum is actually the worst out of those I post on for that and it makes me sad.
(Amusingly a North American site I post on actually pops up a hatespeech warning - just a warning, it doesn't filter the content - if you use the word "fag" - since I'm British and a smoker it's a word I use frequently in an entirely different context). |

Neither of us passed comment on the product, rather the stupidity of people obviously connected to a product or service that review / comment / plug them on here while expecting people to think they're just a.n.other poster. You ain't the first, you won't be the last.
I'd probably tootle off quietly now if I were you and stop embarrsassing yourself and your mate's firm any further. |
