My sister in law and her partner

That's a different way of putting it!
She was half woman, half fish. Terrible in the kitchen, but a bloody good swimmer.

Hey Merv, MRS TONKA is my GF and we would be in Tony's place if we go to Courcheval... We got talking to them after you gave me the details. They sound really cool and if they give us the job I think we're pretty much set on taking it. Are your family still there this season?

My sister in law and her partner have done the last 5 seasons there, they enjoy it so much they now live there all year round, consequently we get out there about 7 weeks per year.

nightlife is pretty good where ever you go, its who your with and what you make it.

Don't know much about 1850 or 1550 but 1650, la Praz and La tania have got some good spots.

The terrain is varied and vast, Courchevel doesn't do good parks but there are a couple of decent ones in meribel

weather is pretty much guarenteed, there is always the option of going high if temps are warm or hitting the trees in 1850 / la praz / la tania if the vis is pants

all in all i think its a decent place to do a season and unless you get a really bum year, a crap employer etc you should enjoy it

word of warning - if you are taking a job with a firm and the accomodation is included be prepared for a tight squeeze!!!!!!!

I love Courchevel. Never done a season, but I spent a 4 weeks in total there this year. The nightlife's pretty decent, and there's a good mix of bars.

The park in Courchevel isn't top notch, but the jumps are ok and there's a good selection of boxes.

The real joy of Courchevel though is the terrain. There's hundreds of little jumps & jibs to be played with, and some incredible powder runs within easy access.

my missus did one in 99/00. she worked as a chalet girl in le praz 1300 and loved it. theres good nightlife pretty much everywhere esp 1650.

the boarding is great here although the snowpark is not the biggest and what is here is huge jumps and massive rails.

loads of off piste to be found though and it keeps all the snow as its mainly north facing.

ive spent a lot of time there. i'm out at the moment, not boarding obviously, but there is still snow down to about 1650/1700 meters. you couldn't really board on it now though but they did have a big dump down to 1500ish only a week ago
